Nah, this should definitely be a continuation of whatever plot was happening with the mind control curse. What are the chances that the same country that fell to a curse user and started stockpiling fertilizer, while a worldwide curse was about to ruin all the coming harvests, would have a nutrient draining magic plant outbreak completely randomly, without any relation to the previous events?I swear if this turns out to be a Scooby Doo level real estate scam... well I guess I'll be impressed someone went to such great lengths to shut down a Veregris restaurant, but afterwards I'd be disappointed that the whole "arc" was just about that one thing.
it high-key pisses me offThis MC is so weird. He has no curiosity or interest in anything. Frequently runs into situations where the magic he knows isn't well suited to what he needs to do. Opportunity to get anything, should he get magic? Nah. Constantly runs low on MP, should he learn a way to restore it faster? Nah. Should he learn how to use magic more efficiently or really anything about it? Nah. Has a magic eye that tells him information about anything he looks at. Should I use it on the unknown plant? Nah, just ask the Dryad who immediately says I don't know seems artificially made.
