20 chapters in 2 years...... Seems like this is gonna be one of those reads that quickly die out and come up on the popular page when a new chapter is out....

Hopefully the anime can give the MC more than one facial expression.

Surprisingly decent. MC is the usual bland OP Isekai protagonist, but there is an appeal in seeing him travel to various places and solve problems. His OP-ness actually matters as well, because the dangerous events that happen require that level of power and it's interesting to see how he handles the crisis and unravels the mystery behind the events. There are also hints from the priest that he was intentionally summoned to deal with the problems, which makes his powers feel less random.

If there is something that imo can improve the story, it's to change the protagonist into a self-aware OP god/hero that actively wants to save the world (basically just give him an actual strong personal motivations) instead of the generic self-insert Isekai protagonist we have. But then again, being a meaningless Isekai story is kind of the point, so...

Mc is very boring and stupid
after hearing the assassins will move onto their next target he chooses to play dumb in hopes they leave him alone?

You know you're in trouble when your death cult villains are more interesting than your protagonist.
