That would mean the kingdom is actually fair in taxing the agriculture sector as they get to eat what they produce.

Or it is like that manga about a overworked salaryman got reincarnated into an alternate japan where the rural is high level because there was a monster outbreak and that forced people behind city walls abandoning the country side but turn out those who are left "adapted" and can thrive. He was born in a city but have a disease that make him starve because there is less mana in the cities thus he moved to his grandparent house in the countryside.


That said, I am curious about the pov of royals and such whenever Yuuji found something wrong. He and his antics might be deemed classified. That is one explanation why the enemies seems to have limited information about him.

Would be funny if they assigned observers , more likely A rank or higher scouts , and their common sense is getting challenged.
