Well, as a lord, that's what he should do. And that's his main strength, to accurately find the best people to delegate work to.Lysia should be more confident, Ars most likely just shove most of the work to his vassals.
I meannn ones his sister 😏It's sure nice of Ars' two youthful brothers to comfort lonely Lysia together at night while Ars is far away at work.
It's not like we don't already know that this story is not good. The author wants to show that Lysia is benevolent, but in the process also shows her making a politically and economically unwise decision contrary to her appraised stats.
I think the series has big one punch man energy, in the sense that the MC doing MC things is lot less interesting than the secondary characters or MC doing non MC things and that's at least half the point. I'm not willing to say the author did this intentionally though but that's how it feels to read to me and I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing. When Ars is presented with a story problem, he pulls one of his banger shocked faces from the Ars signature collection and then just gives the problem to his super ninja or fanatic butler to solve it's not very satisfying but the supporting cast actually doing their thing is and even Ars manages to have good moments when hes not playing the scripted MC of the story. His scenes with Lysia have been consistently cute and he even mans up a bit which is great to see, at least if you forget that hes supposed to be like what 40 by now in protag years while behaving like a child..You know, i don't even know why i'm reading this... Like the MC is so bad that his presence alone makes this series worse, if he were to be killed the series would become better.
Saitama in one punch man is not someone who makes everything worse by just existing. Ars is. The only thing he ever did was "look appraisal!!". Like i said, if he died the series would get better.I think the series has big one punch man energy, in the sense that the MC doing MC things is lot less interesting than the secondary characters or MC doing non MC things and that's at least half the point. Well maybe it's that or maybe Ars is trash and so am I, now give me the next chapter with this bobble head!
The 'losses' shouldn't be significant, or actually noticeable, really. They just need to find one dude and once they do, it's business as usual. Do you think that would take more than an hour or two at most? It's not the modern day. An hour or two doesn't do a thing.it's dumb to sacrifice a portion of trade by that delay, it's good personal publicity for her, which makes the common people happier about their lords. May or may not be worth it, since it will also piss off the merchants.
The country is undergoing a civil war, isn't it? Unless I'm remembering the cause of all these battles wrong. That's why Ars is away in the first place, no matter what sort of war it was. What kind of shock is it if in the middle of a (civil) war there are sudden inspections of wagons? I'm surprised it's not happening more. Nobody should really think much of it under such circumstances. It's, really, the tiniest of all concrete trade/travel disruptions a war could bring.'I won't forgive those who hurt the people!', proceed to issue an order to hurt the people.
Mobilizing the guards for overtime, stopping trade and traffic, causing delays, causing supply and contract issues... pretty much everyone from her own people to the other territory's trading with them all get affected because 'she's such a good lord.'.
