So the reason/excuse to go to war is because the humans captured the princess and could have caused her harm, but she got rescued and returned safely. So the Demon King's plan is to get the people on his side by...very publicly killing the Prince? How does that make sense. Why did no one reaction to three of the the leaders using magic on and physically restraining another leader? They just made a fucking speech. Like what? They've already escalated to physical force; did they think they were gonna Naruto talk-no-jutsu get everyone to settle down??

it made more sense in the Novel, I guess the Manga forgot to add the part that Denis speech was ment to make Demons lose favor on Logsia for not continuing with War, that or we just didn't read the part in the Manga

I would say this is spoilers but since it kinda no longer counts:
in the Novel the Demons in the crowd actually started hating Logsia for not continuing with the war idea, Denis stepped in making a half assed speech no I'm not joking the Novel actually had him say the most generic "he's a coward, let's go to war" speech ever, and that's why the Demons couldn't care less that Logsia got impaled

But welp, I know the Crown Prince has been wounded, but Cain can heal him and these guys will now go down for high treason. I hope the ensuing battle is good, and Cain gets to stomp the shit out of them.

Cain's logic is inherently flawed here though. If he shows overwhelming strength in helping Set, the Demons back down and stop discussing war because who wants to get erased by Cain? He's been told since the very first time he met a Demon that demons respect STRENGTH, not WORDS. And why would they listen to the words of a human anyway, as far as they are concerned its just nonsense spouted by the weak to prevent the Demons from rolling over the Human Kingdoms.
