It's because it's not just office drama, but also some pretty integral world building. Most isekai that I've come across tend to fall into one of the following categories:

1. Your life sucked, so a god decided to reincarnate you out of pity.
2. You saved someone, so a god decided to reincarnate you out of appreciation.
3. You got summoned to "defeat a demon king" (real or imagined).
4. You got stuck in a death game.
5. Haha, fuck you, you're just in a new world now.

This one doesn't quite fall into any of those thanks to the interdimensional reincarnation agency aspect that's being run separately to Tenma's storyline, where we got not only lore about the entire process of reincarnation in this setting, but also getting info on why Tenma, specifically, beyond one of the above categories.

You're forgetting MC's are made out of Plotanium.. They're as strong as the current plot drama/asspull requires.

Absolutely horrible job author, wouldn't be surprised if this got axed not all too soon... which is sad because the artist actually put some effort into this...
