Facing discrimination because you possess the 'worst job: Carrier'? That can easily be solved by carrying Sei-sama's semen in your womb! (Males need not apply)

The mangaka tries to get hype with the plot, but the ball of magical silver was a saved trick of MC. Because only Carriers and Berserkers could hurl such heavy weights without injury — a powered up orb gains unreal weight (he learned the throws from an assassiness in the first volume of the novella). Also ball teleportation - this ability wasn't in the novella at all.
All in all, I highly recommend reading the novella. The mangaka skipped the first 4 volumes, although there are important characters that will still meet and events that influenced his motivation.

As a reminder, it got officially licensed.

As per usual, it all depends on the scanslator if they wanna keep going. And this is /a/nonymous, so maybe?
Friendly reminder to all (including the scanslator): Licensing Deals DO NOT Support The Mangaka. At least, not in any real meaningful way.

The reason being is that licenses to publish in a given territory is not based on how many copies are printed, but instead for the length of time the licensee holds the right to print, distribute, and sell translated versions of a title.

The Japanese publishers do not track the amount of sales overseas because they're not getting piecemeal royalties for every copy sold. Ergo, the number of copies sold do nothing to deter a publisher from axing a title. And, above all, the Mangaka sees not a single red cent of your hard-won dollar because the licensing fee is paid by the publisher before hand. All of your money is going to Seven Seas and nowhere else.

Seriously, I'd like to see more mangaka go for the self-publishing platforms so they not only retain control over their intellectual property, but can even contract a scanslator they like to do the translation for them so it can be sold on a self-publishing platform in that region.

I can't imagine the other carrier getting adopted to this team seeing that the MC fills her role and then some, so I'm curious to see what happens with her. The novel was brutal enough that I'd assume she's doomed but the Manga seems to be setting a different tone for the story.
If I remember right the Girl didn't even exist in the Novel, she is manga onry.

I have no idea how this attack even works, was it teleported or thrown to create that "fortress" but this is one of the unique plots in a fantasy manga for a long time and it is good!

Think of it as his "storage" zone being a box around him and the balls just teleport to the opposite side retaining the momentum he threw them with.

I can't wait till Sei-san punches that smug douche bag in the face. I always find it hilarious when Luna turn enemies into mush with her bay. 😆

I believe his skill recalls the item to his storage but he doesn't return them to it. So, the items are just whizzing around with tremendous velocity powered by his magic. My best guess anyways.

Using the storage skill like the infinite portal trick, pretty schnasty.
Since objects seem to "store" their momentum I wonder if he'll pull a fucking Gates of Babylon sometime later
It should however destroy his hands the moment he tries to catch those balls... Since the momentum of the object is stored... :thonk:
