Chapters 17 through 24 have been updated on the official English website. It seems that this scanlation only translates chapters that have not been translated in the official one.

Yes, well, I'm not gonna bother with the official English releases. They want you to use their app, and apps that are "free" are infamous for being little more than spyware/adware. People these days don't seem to realize how much personal data is being skimmed by these "free" apps.

i dont get the MC... he wants to create a white company, some weird overly ambitious buzzword he keeps putting out there
i mean what is a white company in his view? gray company (if you could call it that) with extra steps would be more accurate
he's really just made a 5 day work week (presumably 40 hrs) with paid? vacation
see it doesn't seem that bad b/c everyone he's hired is doing the job they're good at and love but in essence its not that much a radical shift from the norm to justify it being called a white company
-its all production based economy with skilled jobs
-there is literally no unproductive labor
-no entitled striking baristas or hollywood writers or NETFLIX WORKERS and no money movers, debt collectors, or bankers
-unlike in America where our currency is backed by nothing, aren't these guys on the gold standard
he randomly observes his people and asks his advisor "'gee wiz' my people are working too much what do i do?"
-how he ascertained this, who knows
but his (and his advisor's) great idea in response to this is, rather than jus reducing the work day just spend more to employ people for entertainment.

this happens, i believe, after the advisor brought up the tight budget... which there's the question of why?
-they grow their own food
-materials + repairs i get
-maybe water?
but what else... what are these people hooked on, there's no social engineering by big businesses since big babyhood, no addiction to high fructose corn syrup based products pushed by some billionaire who will then sell you anti obesity meds (ye our world is fucked to the cooooore~ poison the mind + body of children for gains).
in fact, on that, everyone seems pretty damn healthy so its not like they need to be hooked on drugs that will never cure whatever could ail them (im not only talking about the ***** *******)...
no highly addictive time sink gacha games or "idle" mobile games either for that matter.
is there someone artificially inflating the cost of diamonds and convincing women to shame their girlfriends to shame their husbands to buy overpriced rocks? even if this was the case, how many people are about to get married here...
ignoring the rampant exploitation in employment, this world is just not saddled with all of our bullshit, so he literally doesnt have to settle for "hey we have better working conditions than the abysmal shit you guys are currently dealing with."
-dont get me wrong its fine if he does, jus dont get all shiny eyed and self righteous when you tout hurr durr white company

from the demon lord who gets pushed to be a bartender cuz ig being a depressed drunk means you know your way around a bar.
to the weird ass priest who's constantly in the know of what goes on in the Alenz territory

and the lack of thought or care for narrative or the characters makes this a rather boring read pretty fast imo.

I'm as anti-work as the next corporate slave but the absolute disregard for reality is a little too strong to fully enjoy this. Like, check it out if you really have a boner for nice working conditions but there are fewer series with bigger plot armor for the bad ideas being floated here. If nothing else is a dead giveaway, just read the recruitment posting from the first couple chapters and tell me who's protecting the territory after everyone's identical work hours is over? I suppose we're between "oh well they'll just work overtime out of the sheer loyalty they feel" and "the bad guys are kind enough to only attack during business hours". (yes I'm sure this problem gets resolved but this is the sort of logic being thrown around constantly)

I want to enjoy this but I can only sniff so many unicorn rainbow farts before I am reminded that this isn't even suitable as escapism from the reality of someone constantly taking the bulk of the value of my labor as a matter of course. Oh but I guess props on having what appears to be UBI. But I don't think I saw them tackle the obvious problem of how to handle residents who refuse or are unable to contribute any productivity, or if they do have actual standards before kicking people out. (I did stop at the missing chapters though)

So I'd only attempted the first chapter and I didn't even get like 6? Pages I have so many complaints bout the tl/pr/editing it's just god damn awful. Like the first chapter on that awful comiket or whatever is free so go look at its first 6 pages to compare how badly they are done. I don't have high hopes for any of the other chapters so this is not a review. Just a complaint.
