Wonder if MC smells different because remembered past memories or because of change in diet from the kingdom's overspiced dishes to better tasting and more nutritious modern ones. Then again could be for the king there's something familiar about it. Krona seems to really like sweets if wants to eats MC's without having any idea how well MC can cook. Good she was able to keep the cook from quitting and clear up his misunderstandings. Curious to see how Natalie acts with her although it'll probably be very polite but cool at best as MC is a potential rival at best and an unwanted interference and unremovable problem at worst.

This is just a guess but considering that wolf has the same eye and hair color as the king along with the royal family's connection to a wolf spirt but especially said wolf being escorted by the king's right hand man leads me to believe that is the king in wolf form. If it was just an uncommon wolf then could just hire trustworthy guards to follow and guard it, the king's right hand man should be too busy doing that much less be willing to follow and guard anyone other than the king. Also, another wild guess is I bet the king is MC's dog Jirou reincarnated too. Then again could just be coincidence or someone else knew in past life so won't know for sure until later if ever.

I guess I’m a little confused on the story. If she is married to the king already, does she not get the title of “queen”? Is this like when the kings marries a bunch of wives but there is no “official” wife yet? Then her part is to help the king pick out a wife?

@goldfish178 Not really sure how kings in this world dealt with titles for multiple wives but I think she's a princess and not a queen is partly due to the marriage not being consummated, (basically they haven't physically joined together or done anything that could result in an heir or child.) That and as you said him not declaring an official wife yet. Her part isn't to pick a wife, but to be a wife with the four daughters of the duchies in charge of the four cardinal areas (north section, west section, etc.) of the land. However, because the king isn't interested in women he just marries them to keep nobles and others off his back about marrying somebody, tries to grant their wishes as much as possible (without having sex with them,) and then annulling their marriage due to not consummating or having physical intercourse for two years since the marriage ceremony without anybody holding either bride or groom at fault or talking badly about them. MC was likely chosen as she'd have less backers or personal interests in his kingdom so would be less messy and more peaceful marrying her than another hopeful local.
