It was a pain to look at, I imagine it was a pain to edit too, unfortunately it was the only place I found it.

Nope, she has terrible vision (I think the novel explains that she is almost blind), she only sees blurs of colors, to see better she uses magic to receive an image as shown in chapter 10, but it is not possible to do this in real time.
