Your argument is as logical as someone saying "author is being xenophobic since he cured her because he think that blind people cant live normaly"Just gonna play devil's advocate, but there's really only so much you can do with a protagonist that can't always see, it limits their autonomy, and I'm pretty sure that being blind doesn't have any sort of secret advantages, even if she did have the spatial awareness magic.
Also, and i know this is gonna sound stupid, would you go up to a real-life person who had just been cured of their blindness and start complaining that losing their blindness "hurts [their] narrative"? No, you fucking wouldn't, you goobers, you would celebrate their recovery from a purely detrimental ailment.
Drop this if you're unhappy about the way the story is going, but don't act like you know better than the author.
The entire premise was a little girl doing her best to live happily despite being blind and requiring magic to only partialy see.
Removing the blindness remove the entire premise of MC trying to overcome difficulty. Because she had two sacred best and an op big sis as body guard. Literaly nothing bad can happen to her anymore, and she wont have any issue either cose she gained a frigging god sight...
