Wasteful yes, illegal in most places no. Besides, most shark fin soup around now uses imitations. Telling people not to eat it if it's being sold does nothing to still ongoing shark fin hunting, but hurt businesses instead.Quick reminder for everyone, don't eat shark fin soup, its extremely wasteful and illegal in most places.
That was an interesting effect with the strawberry's environment. Water air for the win?
That is not how fossils work.. Permineralization is when mineral-rich water fills empty microscopic pores and spaces inside bone or plant cells. then there is the replacement where original organic material slowly dissolves away and is completely swapped out molecule-by-molecule for new minerals. There is no shark fin in the shark fossil.
I think this chapter is what did it for me, i cannot read this absurd mango further than this.
YesBut you were perfectly fine with average Japanese man getting sent to a different world, getting magic powers, and hooking up with dragon waifus. That's all completely normal and sane to you.
Counterpoint: my fantasy world lore says you can get shark fin from rewinding time on a shark fin fossil because that’s logical in my world. That’s just how it works out. My world, my rules. That is not how fossils work.. lol, lmao even. source: trust me bro?Wasteful yes, illegal in most places no. Besides, most shark fin soup around now uses imitations. Telling people not to eat it if it's being sold does nothing to still ongoing shark fin hunting, but hurt businesses instead.
Wym?? You can research yourself to see how many countries actually outright ban shark fin products, shark finning =/= shark fin trade =/= sale of shark fin products. First one involves hunting sharks, cutting off their fins and throwing them back. Second one deals with illegal trade of shark fin itself and the third one involves the sale of shark fin products which is what the initial comment talked about. There are only a small number of regions/countries that outright ban all 3, most stopped at (1) or (2) where it is legal to sell products made from legally sourced shark fins (e.g. legal permits and specific shark species). Additionally, my point mentioned that most places that does (3) actually find it difficult to even obtain genuine shark fins so majority of shark fin soup are made using subtititutes or imitations. Tell me which part of me saying that avoiding imitation shark fin soup hurt businesses and does nothing for actual shark finning is false. Instead of being stupid, you could have done your own research and educated yourself instead.this story is the epitome of absurdism self-insert wish fulfillment, funny, but in a "completely turn off your brain and any expectations you might have" kind of way.

That is true, but if you revers time on it you revers the entier prosess so at the end you get a shark fin, if your precision is hours perfeckt. That is not how fossils work.. Also doubt that shark fin was the only part that started to mineralize. By the time it was edible, there would have been a good portion of the shark reassembling itself there in that kitchen. That is true, but if you revers time on it you revers the entier prosess so at the end you get a shark fin, if your precision is hours perfeckt.
Hmm, I may not be "East" here, but we have that kind of humidity here ^-^;It recreated the South-East U.S., where it's like 80-90% humidity during the summer.![]()
it is hypothesized that in the prehistoric era, the oxygen level is much higher compared to nowadays, or even when human first existed. That was an interesting effect with the strawberry's environment. Water air for the win?
For that you need the rest of the shark body in fossil form. Also doubt that shark fin was the only part that started to mineralize. By the time it was edible, there would have been a good portion of the shark reassembling itself there in that kitchen.
Why? If you look at the images of its time reversal it grows to twice it's fossilized size. And since mineralization is a replacement process, rather then something like dehydration, there would be no reason it couldn't regrow the whole body in the same manner. There is even a non-zero chance of the damn thing coming back to life when you remember he does exactly that to the strawberries...For that you need the rest of the shark body in fossil form.
Fair point. Don't need any atmosphere level o3 cleaning you from the inside out ^-^;it is hypothesized that in the prehistoric era, the oxygen level is much higher compared to nowadays, or even when human first existed.
it is one of the reason why a lot of organism is gigantic. the strawberry is also desccribed as huge, so i think this is plausible.
the thing is, too much oxygen is poison for humans.
