If he thinks he might possibly learn anything at all from her father He'll descend into Hell itself to rescue him. ngl why can’t Lloyd just figure out the average strength of each monster, figure out how strong her father is, and use some sort of aoe magic that is strong enough to kill or defeat the monsters and weak enough for her father to survive?
I know he would get hurt, but it’s getting 3 birds with one stone cause
1) the monsters get killed
2) they can locate the guy
3) they can now fight less enemies, leading to a smoother and easier defeat of the horde, with them just killing the survivors and being able to fight the boss without the monsters attacking them too

Deeeeyyym they went all out for this chapter. It's not as elaborate as some before it but I guess it being the 150th, they decided to put some decent fight and made it full-colored as well

That was some touching 'conversation' between Sylpha and Lloyd. But I have to say, if she really thinks Lloyd has a god-like power, she should also consider the option that Lloyd can annihilate the horde and save her father in one fell swoop.

Pressing the nuke button should only be the last resort, because what if you hit something you didn't want to?

Sure, daddy might survive if he's in his optimal condition, but what if he ain't?

Lastly, this isn't some obscure event in a remote location. This is a national crisis warranting a lot of attention, he cannot just go in and nuke everything. How is he gonna explain it afterward, God's intervention? Even the aftermath of the Ido's arc had to be handwaved to avoid suspicion.

I thought it was already explained by one of the princess that Lloyd basically won't like something that attracts too much attention. Not too mention now that most of the royalty have their eyes on this matter.

There is no way the dad is weaker than the average monster, so can’t they just first clear out the weaker ones immediately using some sort of magic? I mean if the dad is somehow currently weaker than your average monster, I would say he would probably be dead

Also,it doesn’t have to be a nuke. If Lloyd just wants to make and learn and research about magic, can’t he do something like creating magic that locates specific beings? He could use it to determine what is and isn’t a ally, and he has the ability to just individually attack each monster, it doesn’t have to be a big attack, it just has to be enough to kill the monster.

He has an angel as a pet, I’m sure he could clear out the whole horde, and call it literally what you said, God intervention, as he literally has an Angel to use. The Angel could just manifest or something, and just say some sort of speech on how he used his power to help them because of some bullshit reason
