Can't say anything about the accuracy of translation, but IMHO the term 'hermaphrodite' is a bit misleading. With his twin heads, both sexes and command over death and life it's kinda obvious the 'Ouroboros' in this world represents duality, and since this is Asian story, it's most likely inspired or influenced by the Yin/Yang philosophy. So actually, he is less hermaphrodite, but more both male and female and as such the other head being female makes sense.Hmmm, if he became a hermaphrodite, then they both share both sex organs unless they have unique ones on their individual necks instead of their body.
But whether the organs are shared on the body or separated on the neck, I guess the other head identifies as female based on him identifying her as female. He would know best.
Side note: Sex organs on the neck would be quite unexpected and is something I've never thought of until this post.
He's far beyond evolving into a human at this point. Even if he could, it would be an insane downgrade. Humans just aren't that strong individually, and they also rely on gear, weapon-skills, and magic, none of which he is good at.Place your bets, how many chapters until MC gets a humanoid evolution![]()
The LN has Irushia note that being a hermaphrodite must refer to his heads being male and female because his nether region has not changed like that. Can't say anything about the accuracy of translation, but IMHO the term 'hermaphrodite' is a bit misleading. Most likely:He is not at first sure whether Partner is female because she talks like a guy (something to do with her language pattern in Japanese, I guess?), but that's because she talks a bit like he does; when she takes charge for a human transformation their human body is female.
I mean, he was a commander so he might have been an actual cartographer as well.rough sketch? was adoff a cartographer in his spare time or something?
It was just under budgeted. I don't get why the people are hating so hard on lower budget but still pretty shows.I didn't think the anime was bad! Just kinda average.
That would make MC a ballchinian! Ref: Men in Black 2Side note: Sex organs on the neck would be quite unexpected and is something I've never thought of until this post.
YesYou mean
Allo or Nightmare?

That would take" giving head" a whole new meaningThat would make MC a ballchinian! Ref: Men in Black 2
YesThe second head is a "she"?
Was that the official light novel translation? I will use that then. but penultimates tl description was this + katakana closely matches with it:For future chapters, the LN translated the tribe as Lithovar. Just in case you want to keep the translation consistent with the official one. Anyway, thanks for the chapter.
Okay! I am using names and places from the penultimate terms sheet , after updating some to be a bit better with my own search arounds and knowledge, but official names are appreciated!@apinkfrog list of names and places used in translated WN you can use for this arc:
Lithovar tribe
Ardesia kingdom
priestess Hibi
Bestgrrlwight Aro
the others have english names so isokay
oh, btw, this chapter is chapter 219 in WN
"Ladies?" Maybe "laddies" or "lads"?
yes you are right! Shoujo (少女) and Shoujou (猩々).Translation note: "the young ladies" (Page 19, Panel 2) should probably be fixed, because while I don't have the raws in front of me I do know that the word for "orangutan" that the series uses for the monkey monsters ( 猩々, localized as "Orangurang") sounds very similar to 少女 but doesn't make much sense to refer to the rest of the crew he hung out with in the forest along with the lizard-wife.
