The setting is terrible. Some of these bugs can't even be called bugs, since they were clearly intended features, like the “betrayal bug” being just a corruption mechanic.
So he possesses Ashnold's body in what seems like a real world the game was based on, and all the “bugs” inexplicably work in reality as well? I hate this. It'd be fine if the bugs in the game had a reasonable explanation in this new reality, like they had with the “wall bug” (maybe a secret emergency escape route?) or the “betrayal bug” (clearly just a corruption mechanic), but the bug related to the potion is just goofy as hell.
