She's had crush on Ashnold since long ago and OG Ash seemingly promised to marry her when she's older...
In the OG story she actually dies in the battle between demons and goddess force.

However unlike in the OG where she was in despair after hearing news of Ash's death, since he's alive here she was afraid of dying in battle.
Which resulted in her father taking the attack aiming at her instead.
And now she's the new demon lord (despite her small size she can exert enough pressure to make Ashnold kneel)

Not gonna lie I wasn't expecting some of the development
