@kanaloa , on the contrary, I like it that the manga isn't going too slow. I do not have the patience to read or watch another Naruto, and strongly prefer my entertainment media to be fast-paced and to the point. At least as long as they don't sacrifice understandability.

It was obvious "everything" will be okay from the point where the sword met catgirl. Or maybe even earlier. And it's okay. There are many other interesting developments besides "the only character the audience cared for dies". Yes, including this novel and manga, where few things ever go as planned.
