I'm pretty sure it's a mistranslation. I think it actually says something like "Sleeping to recover from the fatigue of using up all of my MP" -- showing that the MC has been diligently training (presumably by using his Clairvoyance skill on everything).

i see this as. the brother talent are more of a Vanguard type while the MC more of a Rearguard type.
i don't really see the need for jealousy trope. since it's too overused these days

just like how the mother comment about the brother. he's already a prodigy with his talent and could become a Knight Commander if trained right. MC just on a genius level
it would be nice if they bond on their brotherhood more while training. and take a different path while supporting each other. the brother would take a Knight path and MC would take the Magician path. ultimately become Sage and Knight Commander duo

I found this description:

As adjectives the difference between holy and divine is that holy is dedicated to a religious purpose or a god while divine is of or pertaining to a god.

I agree with this interpretation.

Divine (magic) sounds like the source (of the magic) is a one particular god.
