@scripted Yeah... that does make me wonder how the hell that happened?
Then again... one of them also asked just what the hell they put in their mouths. Maybe it isn't food, but an actual slime that was fed sugar and syrup?
oooooh Shion "training" got some result ! by the way is this even fair to let the brother of a candidat in the jury? because if he vote Shuna that can bring some fight
@Boomburst@scripted This whole sidestory happens after Shion has acquired the skill "Cook", so she CAN make tasty food. This is just the first time she has also paid attention to the looks and the texture of the food, not just the taste, so it came out decent.
@mrspiffy And I just re-uploaded the chapter with better translations (to mess with aggregator sites) and didn't see the spelling error. Good catch! Fix uploaded!
To be fair, Cook's ability is essentially reality bending, so she probably could have added wood into the recipe and just willed it to taste good and it would have. What an absurd skill to be able to make Shion make such a tasty looking gelatin-slime.
A weird combo won. I usually eat buttermilk biscuits, with cheese and garlic butter. Don't think I've seen biscuits considered confections either. I honestly thought Shuna or Shion were going to win, more so Shion
@BloodySorcerer but we are talking about biscuits, the ones that are like buns. Garlic butter goes on nearly everything, season your steak and cook it like normal, but on the last minute or 2 put a bit of garlic butter or just butter if you so wished on the middle of your steak and just let it melt in. Shrimp is often pan fried with it and some other things. Great in mashed potatoes, broccoli, mushrooms, green beans with salt and onion. Garlic is just awesome, butter is pretty good too, but garlic takes the crown.
