@ColonelCrisp Not all lizard man retain their feature as you can see there are two lizardman who also looks like human the lizardman who joins souka to work with Soei looks human while the ones with Gabil still looks like lizard.

i like in this how clothing choices (well, at least some of them) make sense - ex the Pegasi - they have midevil like armor and clothes on them - in many isekais, horses&pegasi have no armor at all on them so it is nice to see people take note of that

also, the faces of people and other details sometimes feel really strange to me: they kind of feel like they were sketched out and touched up a bit, but not fully, making the faces seem like a rush job of a talented artist, or something like that — at other times it feels like the artist put more effort into one part than another, but those choices don't make sense, also leaving me with a feeling of incongruity


on another note, you would never guess that those are dwarves by their height, especially "with that giant in the plate armor" (for those who get the reference 😉 )

also, on page 31 in the first panel, the main oni/ogre guy looks like he was drawn by ONE 🤣

why is it that Souka's and Gabil's father, a lizardman and the king, only became a stronger lizardman after being named but Gabil became a drago-newt and Souka became drago-newt AND got human features???? why??? or am i just dumb

@ilaya its explained in the novel something about their desire or something like that Soka and her crew admire Sohei so they develop human form I don't know about Gabil
