Or he'll be charmed and be a 'doting grandfather', if not just use a fake name or so tho i wonder how much you could copyright a recipe to prevent others from selling them, tho at the very least hopefully ppl can remake stuff back home for like guests and suchBased on how it's set up, the prince will save the day when she's in trouble with the grandparent(guess) later
Nah more like the grandfather is gonna be a doting one once he saw his cute granddaughterBased on how it's set up, the prince will save the day when she's in trouble with the grandparent(guess) later

maybe not to us but I’m sure it’d be good for someone who’s never had sugar before. They were basically eating gruel in chapter 1.Again, cooked apples aren't sweet, especially when there's explicitly no sugar used. These pies would be practically inedible.
Author should stop writing cooking manga if they know so little about food. Obviously, they won't read this, but I felt the need to vent.
Well, to be honest, you can make apple sweet by itself but it would need a machine and a day or two.maybe not to us but I’m sure it’d be good for someone who’s never had sugar before. They were basically eating gruel in chapter 1.
They wouldn't be inedible, geez. Just the breading with some lightly sweet fruit crunch would be a big change of pace.Again, cooked apples aren't sweet, especially when there's explicitly no sugar used. These pies would be practically inedible.

The issue is more that actually sweet apples is a relatively modern thing (I ranted about this in a previous chapter)Well, to be honest, you can make apple sweet by itself but it would need a machine and a day or two.
Another thing is that they aren't exactly poor, dining in that world is just underdeveloped (they don't even have much in terms of food hygiene). They could probably substitute sugar with something more natural like honey.
She's a reincarnated person, though; she's definitely had sugar.maybe not to us but I’m sure it’d be good for someone who’s never had sugar before. They were basically eating gruel in chapter 1.
Actually, there wouldn't even be a lightly sweet fruit crunch because wild apple are naturally sour, and cooking apples causes the fructose in the apples to break down and for the water in the apples to be reduced, further increasing the acidity. Throw in the fact that cooked apples in apple pies aren't crunchy (you've got to cook them down before you put them in the pie crust), and you're basically eating tart, toothsome apples in pie crust. They wouldn't be inedible, geez. Just the breading with some lightly sweet fruit crunch would be a big change of pace.
I'm surprised you're still on that instead of the cookie-shaped "scones".
Honey has a tendency to split when cooked for long periods. They could probably substitute sugar with something more natural like honey.
Five year olds in America are probably regularly scarfing down entire Happy Meals, which is probably way worse.Five years old? does kid at her age allowed to eat greasy batter fried food like from prev chapter
Is that so? Guess I haven't baked them for too long then.Honey has a tendency to split when cooked for long periods.
