I enjoy it and I think you’re on to something there. The relationships in this series isn’t overly idealized and the MC doesn’t always get his way in an unnatural manner.

Due to what typically appears in isekai tensei series: consistent progress, rapid successes (sometimes after hitting some bottom for plot), MC being regularly idolized in some way, etc; these game-like progression perhaps become what the some readers expect going in and end up not finding much in this series. Hence the disappointment from some readers.

Personally, i cringe when poor Al outright abused by his family, and not just his immediate family, but maids too. He isn't an angel, sure, and i don't need him to be idolized, but treating him like a slave is too much imho

That chapter was wholesome though, i don't have any problems with it.

Especially if they're up to no good... And have a face like Al, that can be read like a book..
