The reason why Alicia survived and Mary Jane didn't (I forgot if it was MJ or Gwen Stacy now tbh, haven't seen the AG Spiderman films on years)

It was Gwen, both in the original comic from 1973 and from the Garfield movie; the first McGuire movie, however, paid it very close homage with MJ, though, so the confusion is understandable.

(Slightly twisted) Fun fact: Gwen's cause of death is actually slightly different between the comic and the movie because of the different ways their respective Spider-man "rescued" her.

In the comic, Spidey webs her legs and the whiplash from her sudden stop snaps her neck. In the Garfield movie, however, Spidey webs her by the stomach, which causes her body to bend in the opposite direction upon stopping... She might have been able to survive, albeit paralyzed, if she hadn't been close enough for her skull to hit the ground.

In the McGuire movie, MJ is saved because Spidey's close enough that he can actually catch her personally rather than with a web, so the force of her stop was more spread out (think airbag vs seat belt).

I know some people disagree, but I like Suzu: despite her initial treatment towards Old Man, she paid her dues in this incident. Also even before that, she was very supportive of Guild Girl trying to date Old Man and even giving her advices.

On top of that, she's a nice addition to harem, not only she's hot, but she's another race (dwarf, very strong) and her personality will spice things up: Guild Girl is too good girl and Alicia is very shy, so Suzu will be a nice opposite for those two.

About Old Man, he's one of the Main Characters who deserve a harem, he worked hard for two lifes to attain both his power and knowledge (and made mistakes in the process). Much better than the trope of MC who barely starts in world and already become the strongest.

Isn't the receptionist also a dwarf? Which is why she is about the same height as Suzu and people keep thinking she is MC's daughter.
