Imagine if more than one got tossed off, and the Guild Leader Ojisan would have to choose who to save.I 100% expected one of the girls popping onto the deck to get tossed offboard when the vehicle shook, due to not being tethered to the roof like Girold/Alicia/other guy.
Depending on the setting, Guild Leader often being ex high ranker adventurer who are badass like this guy....Does that world minimally requires guild leaders everywhere to be as competent as he is?
ironically he wasn't an adventurer (in this life), he just worked in the guild then got promoted to guild leader because of his skill at the job (paperwork and management)Depending on the setting, Guild Leader often being ex high ranker adventurer who are badass like this guy
No, it read その武器 ("that weapon") as ボウガン (bowgun), so it is referring to Girold's weapon. Though, after doing a little digging-mainly looking at the Japanese Wikipedia page for crossbow-apparently Japan doesn't really have a word for crossbow. They'll mainly use ボウガン (bowgun) as their general word for crossbows or クロスボウ (crossbow) if they want to be specific. And, bowgun was a trademark name in Japan, so I think it's also how we refer to common products as their brand name (e.g. Band-Aid, Popsicle, Ziploc, etc). Please note, TL, "bowgun" does not mean the weapon the MC is using.
There is indeed a thing called a "bowgun", but the "bow" part rhymes with "how" and "now" and refers to the bow of a boat or ship. It's a cannon mounted to fire forward. The MC is using a "crossbow" or "arbalest".
