I'm sorry, but it should have been BLATANTLY OBVIOUS to Lily that something was up. Even if Girold would choose Sophia over her, she should know he wouldn't allow the weird-ass situation of having her tied to a chair to watch unless he was in some kind of abnormal state. Her reaction should not have been to compete, but to immediately get the others together to report what happened and insist that something was wrong with their man. The author just wanted to force some kind of crap-ass NTR into the situation and couldn't see a believable way to get their OP character involved in it.
