Hey, the knight guy got saved. I didn't expect a non-waifu character to be anything more than an expendable extra.

Not gonna lie, Knight guy was one hell of a badass given that he's a normal mortal.

That knight order held the line to almost the very last man. That very last one, lost an arm and a leg, his sword was broken, and had massive internal injuries, but he still held that that line. I hope they all get honored after everything is all said and done. I wonder how long they fought. What they felt as they were getting over run while getting pushed to their very last line and their dwindling in numbers.

I had decided to give it a few chapters since a couple comments said it's a setup for character development for the MC, but so far it's just the usual cliche story being played completely straight. The world building is bad, none of the characters are interesting, and now we're getting multiple chapters of bland fight scenes.

I've read through the main story of the novel. It's actually really good, particularly on character development and it's world building. You've pretty much just seen the initial setup and a chapter of fighting. This isn't enough to show how the story works at all.

Elf princess def the first member of harem. Btw mc fighting style is sharp, precise, and concise without wasted movement. I guess he is really a man of focus, commitment, and sheer will. I once saw him kill three monsters in a city with a pencil.

Confused as to whether every Adept uses life magic or if every Adept can learn it to cure this deadly plague. It doesn't seem to make sense that they'd be waiting for an adept for treatment when only the Life aspect ones could possibly treat them. Speaking of, no explanation of powers or possible other paths is a bit of a black mark for me, since it kinda washes out the world building as something other than a stage for the MC.

Oh well. Maybe they'll explain it later.
