I pity Hannah, but the first solution to gain money shouldn't be kidnapping and trafficking the child you were hired to care for. Like, you could ask to borrow money and go into debt, or even sell your own self (seemingly a medieval setting). But no, just had to take the child and sell her as the big solution.
Not even thinking that her family could be punished for her crime is amazingly naive, considering it should be one of the things you would be told when hired or gossiped by colleagues, especially since her boss is a noble (a high tier one). You'd think there would be high standards when it comes to hiring and being a caretaker to a noble's baby, right?
That's why I believe she should've been mentally competent enough to realize she should be worrying about the consequences of kidnapping the daughter, rather than not thinking of other solutions being more viable.
