• Most people thought that the father was old fashioned and/or a bigot, but in reality he did know how evil his daughter is.
• Seeing how a lot of other Remingtons are also evil, maybe the father thought that she was not evil enough?

i was gonna guess last chapter Obaa-san wanted Lia cause didnt have any children of her own and would have made Lia the Remington successor, but twist she had all girls unlike the other lords who only have boys
