If you don't have many magic users your country is already lost but you could at least develop everything that don't need magic.
You have great agriculture, that's amazing now how your blacksmithing? Transportation? Infra structure? Cooking? Chemistry? Etc...
If you just stopped looking over the fence you would see how much your own country has to do yet.

Funny enough there are some data that shows how the "he is nothing more than a commoner" there at the end has some, not much just some, merit and it falls out on how there is cognitive and qualitative differences between people who rise to form nobility and commoners. That is not really important anymore because of the old nobility having mingled with the commoners so those qualities were spread to the general population but they did matter for medieval like societies and can be observed in isolationist tribes.

Uhh I highly doubt that you who claim commoner can't do it also can't do it as noble. You can't mess with plot armor lol

Are these four Easter royals sharing a single braincell? They're already not under threat of the void thingies. So what are they even fearing? Why are they begrudgingly licking Kingdom's boots instead of using their vast food production as leverage like we just learned Farland is doing?

Looks like the Easter royals are just being used by Lady Remington. They somehow believed that preventing Lia's marriage into the royal family would eventually lead to the downfall of the kingdom. Of course, Lady Remington has no interest in that happening and wants to take over though we haven't heard her exact plans for this. Then again, she seemed quite mad too; without the royal family and the other 3 noble family, how exactly does she expect to maintain the barrier?

I really wonder how the kingdom is not self-sufficient with food. From the map, it seems that they have plenty of land and it didn't seem desertic. I guess they urbanised and specialised too much in magic tools.

Another pathetic self-important villain with an even more pathetic motivation for wanting to engineer the downfall of another country. Considering how well the story had been playing out until now, I'm disappointed. Then again, there's Lady Remington. This fool of a King better not be the limit.

Don't tell me that they're going to give this prince a redemption arc and go ”He's not actually evil, see. He just want to be recognised and appreciated because he used to be a commoner (╥﹏╥)”

Also, it's almost 70 chapters and our MC is still just a little toddler. Or is it the author's plan to keep her age untill the end :questionblob:

If they're an agricultural powerhouse that supplies the more magical kingdoms with most of their basic sustenance, and also do not rely on magical tools, but they still can't get there hands on powerful mages for marriages (or any other "want" they may have), then that just goes to show that that king and his offspring are complete shit at their jobs! No wonder they're looking to kill a little kid... yeesh. With brains like those, it's their only viable option😅!

The king is just plain greedy. I'm pretty sure he can put some leverage like the nation at the north if he tried but nope, he wants it all.

I'm pretty sure if the central country falls, there's going to be a sudden spike in the population of the void because of it and it will have rippling effects to the surrounding countries as well.

I almost forgot about that lady of the Four Houses being at least partially responsible for the kidnapping.
