One of the two things that always will bother me with Japanese written isekai are:
[ol] 1. People only notice their eye and hair color if they're directly transported into the world from Japan, never their other facial features, eyes, nose, shape of the face, skin color, etc. (It's not like Western Europeans don't have dark hair and dark eyes.)
2. People sometimes notice their weird names. Some authors realize this and have the characters change the name, again, talking about when they're teleported into the world as is, no reincarnation into a bay and growing up in that society. I never understand why the author won't have the character change their name to something less alien.
[/ol]
Just a quick rant.
