Yay! Not only is it back, but we get to see Gobwa while she was still a Goblina. In the anime we first see her when she's a Kaijin. Not sure if that's the first time we see her in the LN, haven't gotten that far yet.

I haven't read the novel, but from the anime, in which we saw little of them all together. He seemed to care for them but not necessarily romantically and he just agreed because he didn't want to hurt their feelings. Also didn't he say verbally that he only wanted one?

Maybe read the LN? That because this is the first time they've met. The anime is still a ways off from this. Also, he is probably the most socially awkward man in Tempest when it comes to women. Thats why Souei has to be the one to explain thing to him, he's by far the most blunt and up front.
