@EpicGamerEpic Agree with xyzzy here. His inventions, ironically, do make him stand out - not just among other romcom MCs, but among other students in his class. Plus, his inventions are really a product of his social anxiety, since it's his primary method of trying to stand out from the crowd and he's been in the hospital for so long he doesn't really know how to interact with people.
