That's annoying, that ending felt really anti-climactic to me.

I'm certainly glad they managed to get to college together with no issues, but it feels like the delivery of the celebration of that was a bit flat.
Also the issues with Xiao Lu's mom are far from being resolved, but I guess that's being left for a potential part 2.

Still, a very enjoyable read and I absolutely loved their chemisty. A 2nd season whould be absolutely amazing!

Cute, but a let down story-wise.

Break up for 400 days rather than set boundaries or reasonable expectations?
Not dealing with the homophobic mom?
Focus on accepting the pressure of studying rather than achieving a good balance?
The nice mom never actually meeting her daughter's girlfriend?
Everything being resolved so fast?

The gay friend getting no bitches?

Where are the extras and season 2? But great story.
The author has apparently announced about a year ago that they would start working on the continuation of this, but looks like people are unsure if its a 2nd season or some extras.

Feck. The high rating deceived me into reading this garbage. It's not egregiously bad, and was cute at times, but the ending just turned this from a 4/10 into a 3/10. Such a waste of fecking time...

God, I really hope there's a sequel. I love this story and I desperately want more and I want to see the unresolved issues be addressed. Something I see quite a lot in manga and manhua and whatnot is a family member who was previously unaccepting become more accepting, but I don't often see people cutting off toxic family members who refuse to change, and while I feel like Lin Luxi's mom has the potential for betterment I'd sooner bet on her sticking with her guns. I don't know, I feel like there's still a lot left for Lin and Tong Tong that can be done and I just hope more comes out

This story is more realistic than solving homophobia with the power of friendship type of nonsense. Some commenters here are really clueless about how the world actually works. Often for people in those situations the best thing is get away from their controlling shitty parents.
Not dealing with the homophobic mom?
Like bruv what do you think they could do? Kinda feels wrong shitting on a series for not being wish fulfillment and solving all problems. I really liked that her mom stayed homophobic and wouldn't change, it's true to life.

The complains of someone who has the luxury of not living in a legally homophobic society that demonizes individuality from children
