She already recognized Tongtong as an obstacle and needed to subtly create the impression that she and Xiao Lu were some kind of "pair," or that she understood Xiao Lu in some unique, deeper way than Tongtong. Of course she has no idea that Tongtong is the actual GF.

i mean from what we know, BaiYan enjoyed using Luxi because she's very caring and thoughtful and it's implied that she took massive advantage of it. she had the knowledge that 1. she was straight and 2. Luxi had a major crush on her and could be easily manipulated. and then tossed her aside when she got a boyfriend. that's pretty shitty in my opinion.
