I’ve been theorizing that after girlfriend #33, everyone’s going to suddenly go up a year. Nobody will understand this, especially since it never stopped being spring (except possibly for a brief Christmas and/or Valentine’s arc out of nowhere), and there will be merciless Nakamura-bullying from the cast. If I’m right, introducing this girl so close to the 1/3 mark is a bit concerning.

Way back when the Goriria Alliance made their first appearance, I was convinced we might not get our own Banchou since we already had one as a background character, but now that has been proven to be incorrect!

Man this is just like how I feel when a character I want is added to Smash, or how it must have felt for fans of other characters to have been given a higher status than being an Assist Trophy or Spirit, it’s like all the previous assumptions I had about the rules are thrown out the window.

Maybe this means we might get an idol girlfriend in the future since we had a few background characters like that in the past, so long as the role isn’t already taken by another girlfriend, I guess it’s free reign. My god I just love her so much, you have no idea, this is like a Christmas present but a month early! I guess the joke I made in an earlier chapter of waiting for the fighters pass announcements wasn’t entirely incorrect, man this reminds me of how I felt when Steve was added.
