The idea is intriguing, but it probably goes against story rules: the Zaps have always happened with Rentaro and the gf mutually looking in each other eyes; Ren has seen some gfs without getting th Zap, 'cause their eyes didn't technically meet (Mei with closed eyes, Meme with her bang, ecc.). Even considering person and avatar as 2 gf, during a video, or even a stream, the vtuber can't see Rentaro, so I don't see how the Zap could happen. (But this manga is... well, this manga, so who know XD)
Still, I'll add the vtubet.

maybe some contrivance where he's actually at some sort of live event where they put the vtuber on a big screen, instead of watching in, like, his home. so he's in a crowd and the streamer can see the crowd through a camera or something. I'm sure the author has a hundred more ass-pulls than just my idea lol

Kusuri doesn't count as "supernatural" girl because her nature is human, she's a girl super gifted with intelligence and talent in chemistry, she's not Doraemon, it's like saying that Yamame has supernatural powers just because she has a natural talent over animals and plants.

And yes, compared to the girl that uses her brain "only" to memorize and recite the entirety of pi, a girl who uses her brain to create potions that allow you to control your hair, have X-ray vision, or turn into a baby IS supernatural.
