Sometimes I feel like Karane and Hakari have kissed each other more than they've kissed Rentaro.

I think last time it happened was many chapters ago, but I gotta say it bothers me a little because of how much skinship the author is allowed between girls, like how a french kiss was too much for Rentarou but somehow ok between girls and how they can freely grope each other.
As if there was a very specific boundary for Rentarou that doesn't exist for them.

Something I really enjoy about this series is how it gives focus to all characters.
I mean, it took me a minute to realize that Rentarou didn't even appear in this chapter, and it gave other characters the focus.
I'll always enjoy seeing more Rentarou, but what I really enjoy is seeing character development from everyone.

You're free to think that but let's try a different perspective. Why do you think it's a bait in the first place? I hate yuribait but I'm totally fine with this. To me, they're more genuine and healthier than... idk Yuri Is My Job? Hibike? etc.

Yeah! That's the cutest part of this chapter for me!
Getting physical and touchy-feely could be handwaved away as them getting carried away when the mood allows it... It doesn't necessarily mean they care that much about each other.
On the other hand, the fact they call each other before going to sleep (it's implied they didn't call just for the Rin-Nemu thing) means they love and enjoy each other's company, despite the mutual teasing.
The french kissing helps too, I guess.
