I love Ahko so much in this chapter, granted I love ahko a lot in every chapter, but this one specifically is really really really good. She's so cute!

I don't know how I didn't realize it when Ahko was introduced, but she and Karane actually are like mirrors of each other, aren't they? Expressive expressions but not words / Expressive words but not expressions. And Karane does have a bit of a Gyaru look going on there, doesn't she?

These characterization chapters are getting REALLY damn good. I am still completely and utterly enthralled at the quality of the writing, especially this far in, when it's SO EASY to flanderize your characters. In a series like this, which play on every characters most trope-y trait, that is seriously impressive. I can't gush about this stupid ass fucking manga enough.
