Rentarou's speech was kind of weird. Like it began well with him saying that they aren't ready and if that was it then that would be a fair explanation. Everyone has the fight to decide when they are mature enough for sexual experimentation.

Where it gets weird is when he implies that sexual attraction would be bad and he couldn't possibly have sexual thoughts towards any of them. Like that sounded like the author couldn't figure out a reason why they aren't having sex and needed some vague excuse because the Manga's publisher wouldn't allow it.

He is 15. It would definitely be wrong to do anything of that nature.

Hopefully Hakari survives until Rentarou finally mans-up, I mean he says he loves her but he obviously holds no care for her self-esteem. I can't imagine how crushing it must be for someone to want to take the next step in their relationship and get closer to their partner, only for their partner to reject all their advances at every turn. Perhaps Rentarou is actually asexual? It would certainly explain how he could claim to love them, but also be vehemently rejecting all their attempts at physical intimacy. I mean just look at the french kissing chapter, where Rentarou was so against the idea of french kissing Kurumi that he had a grown woman do it. I doubt that it will ever happen, but I would love it if there was a chapter where he and the girls just sat down and discussed their boundaries in this relationship. Them just taking the time to talk about what level of physicality they are ready for, and with whom in the harem they are comfortable doing it with. It would honestly be something interesting to see, because I don't think I have ever read a manga where the romantic partners ever just calmly discuss what acts they do and don't consent to. (Yes, this is nothing but a gag-manga and shouldn't be taken seriously whatsoever. This is just me postulating on the nature of Rentarou's and Hakari's relationship that this chapter brought up.)
How about they sit down and calmly discuss how they are biologically too young to be doing that stuff? How about you man up and get a proper education instead of desiring 15 year olds to do stuff like that?

Rare Rentarou miss. What's so wrong with sexual attraction? Why is it portrayed like having sexual attraction to his girlfriend will somehow tarnish how much he "cherishes" her?
It won't. Once all of them, including the 12 year olds are old enough for it. He doesn't want any of them to get an unfair headstart, remember?

I mean, given what else has happened fourth-wall wise in this manga, that would have been perfectly in line, and would probably have more-or-less satisfied most of the disappointment being mentioned in this comments forum.

Personally I don't have much of a perspective on this though, so I'm not sure what the right/most agreed upon call would be

I suppose that Rentarou is saving himself for the moment he has all 100, and then he will try to everyone everywhere all at once

It's noble that he doesn't want to give anyone an unfair headstart, and will likely wait until the youngest members are all 18, but I do feel tons of sympathy for the big chunk of girls who are "ready to go" and have to painfully wait :aquadrink:

I wouldn't mind it if the series presented it as him wanting to avoid seeming like he's treating her better then the others

But that isn't the case, it comes across more like the author presenting some outdated morals

Despite all of the ridiculousness of his situation, put yourself in his shoes. Knowing full-well that he has 20 girlfriends that he loves dearly, and 80 more on the way, how do you pick one of them to take your virginity? The horniest girl? The hottest girl? The girl that would enjoy it the most? How do you come to a conclusion that wouldn't completely break the hearts of everyone? Its an impossible decision for an impossible situation.
He obviously has sexual feelings for Hakari. He can't, and won't, go through with it because he knows that actual lives are at stake if he does.

I wonder when the beans will get spilled, when they all will figure out that they will literally die if they can't make their relationship work with Rentarou.

Maybe they should have made all characters at least 4 years older, but I guess that doesn't pull the masses in.

It's disgusting how people seem to think that a high-schooler considering himself too imature for sex is a "miss", like mf they're KIDS FFS, there's a reason why even a french kiss was a whole ass drama before, also considering his personality, he probably takes every single possible and imaginable risk into consideration, and that includes the risk of pregnancy, witch, as was show by the story of the mother of the girl this chapter is centered around, can completely derail their entire lives. Unless you're living in hentai-land, high-schoolers being active is IMPULSIVE and RISKY, and all around a bad decision. And i say that from experience of seeing two cousins dropping from high-school because the stupid bimbos couldn't keep their legs closed and got pregnant.

Also, this.

By the time Chyio is 18, him and most of the cast will be 21, and Hahari, the oldest one other than Yaku, will be 35, THEN things can move in that direction.

Aw. The past panel on page 2 looked like Nano was actually feeling slightly randy, too, and was just suppressing it. We haven't gotten a lot of chapters exploring Nano's feelings and how she deals with them. I actually was a little disappointed it was just a joke that both Karane and Hakari were feeling pent up, with no acknowledgement that Nano might also be going through that to a degree.

They made the "we have to keep this family-friendly so the magazine doesn't get in trouble" joke a couple times before, so you could be right.
