Also, every single charcater in this manga at some point will feel reduced to essentially their gimmicks but after getting their backstories reveiled one by one you kinda cant help but love those gimmicks, and that is really the heart and core of the rentarou plight.

For the record I would like to state that I think the joke nobody got was either due to the way it’s written or spoken, something to do with the number 100 and the specific amount of “love” that’s used in the title. Someone would know better than me on this though, it just seems like that’s the joke.
