I'm not sure if you actually don't understand, but what I'm implying here is (Don't click the spoiler if you know. The joke will be funnier that way.) that he's one of Rentarou's soulmates. Soulmates that don't have their love accepted die, after all.

You do realize that if rentarou dies now, I think tha all his unmet soulmates die, and maybe the ones he met too?

I don't think Rentarou would die, as he would still have 99 soulmates left. He'd have only lost 1% of his "fortune." But, yeah, if Rentarou somehow died, all of his unmet soulmates would die too. The ones he has met would probably be fine, though, just by looking at Hahari and (Future GF spoilers) Yaku, who both lost their previous soulmates presumably before / around when Rentarou was born, when they probably didn't have their second one yet. But if they did then I guess they'd still have half of their fortune left, so it's possible, I guess?

Rentarou's probably not going to die, though. He's basically a god, after all.

Neither have said that explicitly — the only non-Rentarou zings that have been confirmed are between the Gorilla Leader and Yuu-kun, and between Kusuri's parents. That's not saying they definitely didn't zing, but it wasn't shown or described.

(Well, and between Momiji and Hahari's boobs, but that's a touch-based zing and not an eye contact zing, so possibly different rules apply.)
