i dont think it was using his chains against his own magic attack... his endurance is just that OP. whatever attack you use (magic or physical) its gonna have to be WAYYYYY over the limit to do damage.

He's dead, there's a scene in ares where they seem to be sweating bullets after looking over the assassin's stats, can't read korean but i can say you don't see the assassin outside of a picture next chapter

He is only lacking in the magic stat. Basically everything else including defense is S class I think. So even if they nuked him, he would probably still be ok.

@DarkTyDe You're right, but then the assasin guy followed it with poison explosion and MC still okay.
@Tatsuya-Kai I hope they started to take MC more seriously or don't fuck with him purposely. Seems like all this time they still thought MC is a big fish in a small pond case just because he couldn't use magic. Whiule the MC already proven its not the case and all out war would bring more casualities.

Yeah... Not once did I even feel mildly scared for the MC. Like... Not even a hint of a shred of fear. The author played it up to be a BIG deal and while I appreciate the artist doing his best to make everything dramatic... Yeah... No. I breezed through this chapter in under a minute while holding "PgDn" for dear life.

@MinecraftNoob not possible. He was stuck in the dungeon for 10 years, so the same brand/model of slippers would most likely not be in production or available for purchase. Otherwise, he would have had to buy many pairs of the same slippers before he was transported to the dungeon 10 years ago.
