This manga has so many lines I would never in a million years think I would hear.
But every time I read it, I'm reminded of GDBBM. Which was one of my favorite...still not sure whether it was wuxia or xianxia. It kind of started as wuxia aside from the male lead, but shifted from martial arts to magic powers as the series went on. So both?

@Bayaya After a quick google search it seems that if the injury occurs on the very fingertip that it is quite possible for it to fully regrow, especially in children. And as we've seen in the manga, while her mother chopped her actual finger, she chopped only the tip of Maomao's finger.
