though like??? damn i kinda wish frey himself as a character was mentioned more. like i understand bullying happens in most schools and even if it's inexcusable it just happens, but like, y'all are just. acting as if he's suddenly strong and p cool to hang around when he was bullied forever (i'm directing this more to the redhead, rather than the blonde dude bc she was directly in his class and would've known about what happened). like, i don't mind the redhead, but i don't really like her as lucas'/frey's friend considering how she never reached out to frey beforehand, and doesn't seem to acknowledge what he went through at that time either.

idk i just don't care that much for the redhead, but i do love the plot/lucas in general.

@melbell I do hope there is more info about Frey and his background. The bullying seems like it was very extreme, so I really hope the MC doesn't let them all off so easily; sitting around and watching someone be treated like that without doing anything is almost as bad as doing the bullying yourself.

Yes I totally agree, the physical bullying was really hard, and them ignoring and isolating him is just as mentally awful. I'm hoping that doesn't slip through the cracks in this fic. At least Lucas seems to pity him at least and wants to earnestly fulfill Frey's wish, but I feel like it's unfair for students to suddenly want to befriend Frey after ignoring all that was happening to him, and I hope Lucas calls them out on it.

@mytosis My exact thoughts. I really dislike her for sucking up to him all of a sudden. Her character is written like a nosy leech that just leeches off of the MC, while constantly telling him what to do.
