Yeah, seriously. Why even provoke her if it's going to end up like that? She even kept talking shit as she was dying, did she want to die or something? That was a really bizarre way to introduce a plot device into the story....Have a villain that has an entire organization under her command, she clearly has an agenda and shit to do; and then picks a fight she should know she can't win, just so she can taunt someone. lolwtf.
That's like heckling someone as you tight the noose around your own neck, cackle, and knock that chair off yourself.

So far pretty much all dragons are 'prideful' so if she considers fleeing without fighting to be worse than fighting and dying it'd make sense.

How strong is Rurin that she did destroy the entire head of a red dragoness with one hit without using her dragon form? And after she defeated a red dragon she seemed to lose both wings.

Guess it is because a red dragon was already almost dead (lost both wings) and had 0% chance to survive so she would tell some trash before passing away. But damn Rurin did overkill her.

Judging from how the knight is supposed to be dead, I'm assuming the dragon is on the same boat. Probably still alive, or probably being kept alive. Is the next enemy going to be a necromancer? I hope it's someone who can threaten the MC this time.
