I really like this story, it starts out as just oh slow life kinda manga, we a few mini arcs of helping people, and then the real big one about all the politics and drama of dragons, then backstory time for Ellison and while all this is happening, there's the human politics subplot with the crown prince, which is cool, and of course the current arc that just ended, with lurin. Great story, can't wait to see what happens next!

This is really fucking good, and 100% my jam. It's a slow burn story that starts out as an episodic, slice of life, slow life type series while gradually ramping up as more is revealed about the world and characters and events become more serious. It never completely ditches the slow life, though, as everyone always returns to the restaurant at some point. It's a thematically strong series with good characters, an interesting world, and excellent pacing. I especially love that it has the balls to not just dump the entire backstory and setting on the reader at the start, but instead leaves you with small hints and drip fed flashbacks throughout. Gives some mysteries and things you want to know to look forward to, instead of just dumping it all on your plate from the start.

Also anyone who thinks this is a grooming plot doesn't know how to read. There was never a father-daughter relationship between the two leads. The female lead has some childish aspects, but given your first introduction to her is her sleeping after chugging a few cans of beer I think it's pretty damn obvious that she isn't meant to be a child.

Obviously an incredibly old comment but how exactly did he groom her and how is he a pedohile? She's of age and they naturally developed a relationship he didn't manipulate her literally at all. Just weird seeing this comment as if you skimmed through their entire relationship and didn't read the story at all.

For me, this is one of the best manhwas I have ever read. The artist did a great job of showing the personality of the characters and the occasional chibi drawing makes it even better. The action and especially the romance just hits the spot. Defitnitely worth a read~!!

For the grooming part tho, I myself is "immature" and Verry very naive back then, even though I'm already an adult, I don't understand what and why such thing happend and take it directly to my face. Does that mean I'm not allowed to date then? That being said, she doesn't look like a child to me and a lot of people around me that are already an adult looks like that. And I think that guy's feeling is defeloped later when he realized she's an adult.

That being said, it's not that simple I guess.

The story is 8.5 but it makes me cry so 10
