Thanks for the scanlations. Love the team dynamic in this series. Way too many isekai and fantasy series with lone wolf MC

How are we still getting flashbacks of yesteryear after 18 chapters? Like, can we finish the fight and see his character develop OUTSIDE of being told about it? Can we see him grapple with this stuff OUTSIDE the battle? I wanna like this but it's been 18 chapters of pretty much the same thing over and over again.

"You were better back then!"

"Show us your skill!"

"All according to plan!"

"So that was it!"

"Oh no, something bad happened, BUT THAT WAS ALSO PART OF OUR PLAN ALL ALONG!"

Battle scenes, like dance scenes, are about motion. To capture the excitement of motion in a sequence of panels requires brilliance, which isn't on display here. Absenting such brilliance, the battle scene (or dance scene) needs to be about something more than battle, which this sequence is not.

3 chapters of plot, 15 chapters of "all according to keikaku!" and I'm getting tired of this.

You're the mage of 5 colors, bruh; show up, zot/burn/whoosh/splash/thud, and be done.
Enough with the <begin>(surprise! Hit hit hit! Flashback! Got em!)<repeat> for 12 damn chapters...

When you pass too much electricity through a suit of armor, you will weld the pieces together from the joints. After that, it will be an immobile statue, instead of a living armor.

interesting. But very abstract. Care to elaborate a bit more? What exactly do you mean by brilliance, and "more than battle"?
