I'm going to have to turn off my mind in regards to dragon "waiting for the one with Ancient Summoning" because that implies a sort of "knowledge" about how much time needs to pass before something becomes "ancient."

It is pretty crazy that they decided a skill that sounds OP as hell like Ancient Summoning is trash simply because it hasn't been able to activate yet, especially with the common trope of ancient is powerful. Certainly having an unknown skill that hasn't activated yet being considered bad is another common trope, but most of those had a vague name that made it hard to imagine what they did by the world's standards.

I'm still wondering why is there a random family of villagers with an infant no less out strolling the dangerous forest where dangerous beings roam free... hell the kobolds are bad enough, but the giant snake looks like it would have rolled the entire village for snacks then found a few bears for dinner.

What the fuck is wrong with that dragon's legs? Those front legs are for sure bending the wrong way, it's not just me, right? I think the artist is going for horse like legs, but those are still wrong! I mean, horse legs are weird because they have both elbows and knees, so this definitely looks wrong.

No, like most quadrupeds, horses are walking on their toes. The part you think is an extra elbow, is actually their wrist/ankle, so they bend properly at the knee, unlike this dragon.

I love when a summoning skill also gives a lot of power to the summoner! Would be a shame if a story actually had a chance of MC losing.
