So this story goes through, technically, 2 series, several tournaments, and all kind of character growth, and yet, the point of interest that started this series, a cute short girl who can jump more than 3 times get own height, is utilized, what twice? At the very least, it should have been brought back in the final match, as a callback to the first. Outside of that it should have been fairly regularly used, seeing as it was something she was apparently known for in her volleyball club before it was disbanded, and being able to spike from that height would make it nearly impossible to guard against. This is a silly, fun, slightly sexy series with girls in sports wear, and could have been more, but it lost it's own thread fairly quickly, becoming another generic sports-as-battle manga. Kind of a shame.
