Even with low expectations, this chapter leaves me with nothing by disappointment and questions why authors are so shit at writing female leads. Her backstory was fine, but every interaction after her first meeting with her fiance, has steadily gone down hill.

I won't say I had hopes the story would be good. But it should have at least reached mediocre or even passible levels intrest. Instead the characters are mostly forgettable or irritating. So I'll take my leave before the rest of the reverse harem shows up and adds Yet more layers of dislike to this disappointing story.

Everyone has already said everything that needed to be said about the whole thing being stupid, her not being smart, not needing to jump in, not needing to reveal her secret that was SO important it NEEDED to be secret for so long.
But i want to add that the dude had a knife, on the third floor. Like whats the threat here? Whats he gonna do? THROW the knife FROM THE THIRD FLOOR?
